Role of Political Cynicism as a Determining Factor in the Political Apathy of Citizens in Pakistan

AbstractPolitical Apathy has been an essential issue in the present democratic process across the world. It has been working as cancer that is eating away all the fruits of the last three hundred years struggle for strengthening democracy around the globe. The author applied the survey approach for gathering the primary data from the respondents through the stratified sample. This article explores the role of political cynicism as a determining factor in political apathy in Pakistan. The current study aim to highlight the issue in the current perspective of Pakistan.
