NOVEL BENZAMIDE DERIVATIVES AS MODULATORS OF THE FOLLICLE STIMULATING HORMONE

Disclosed is a compound having the formula I-A or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate or solvate of such compound wherein R1 represents O-C1-6alkyl, O-C2-6alkynyl, O-C2-6alkenyl, O-C3-7cycloalkyl or O-alkylcycloalkyl or R1 and R2 form a heterocycle and wherein the rest of the substituents are disclosed within the specification. Also disclosed is the use of the compound of formula I for preparing a tracer for imaging FSH receptors and for manufacturing a medicament for the treatment or prevention of a condition wichin is affected by the FSH receptor negative allosteric modulators such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian disease, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, hormone-dependent cancer, prostate cancer, uterine cancer, breast cancer and ovarian cancer and osteoporosis, and for contraception.
