Abstract

Physiotherapy in endometriosis focuses on non-invasive and conservative treatment of pelvic floor disorders in women. It deals with the restoration of the efficiency and function of tissues and organs in the pelvic area, supports the process of surgical treatment, and relieves pain, thus improving the quality of life (QoL) (1). In its various forms, physiotherapy can be an excellent complement to the gynaecological treatment of endometriosis, by virtue of reducing inflammation and alleviating pain, thus significantly improving women’s QoL.
