Abstract
The aim of the survey is the development of argon plasma coagulation usage protocols, along with the study of its efficiency in the surgical treatment of external genital endometriosis. 44 female patients with external genital endometriosis, stages I, II and III, were enrolled in the survey. Clinical analysis results of APC impact on external genital endometriosis lesions (peritoneal form, endometriotic cysts after enucleation) efficiency indicate that when we choose optimal elements – modes (“Fulgur”, “Spray”), intensity and exposure for different kinds of endoscopies in EGE, in particular – it becomes possible to minimize plasmatic effect on the group of cells which contribute to tissue regeneration after coagulation of heterotopy, as well as to get a high-quality hemostasis. In the survey we develop the argon plasma coagulation “A”, “B” and “C” protocols, which usage provides the optimal destructive effect and prevents the feasible progression of coagulation zone in the postoperative period. The results of the research give the opportunity to choose the optimal algorithm for APC appliance in the laparoscopic treatment of external genital endometriosis according to invasion stage and lesion localization.
