Abstract

Objective:To detect the expression of estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR) and RANTES for exploring the multiple factors and mechanism in adenomyosis. Methods: The expression of ER,PR and RANTES in 30 normal subjects,51 eutopic and 51 ectopic in adenomayotic tissues was detected by using immunohistochemical streptavidin-biotin peroxidase(SP) method. Results: The expression of ER and PR in ectopic was lower than that in normal and eutopic adenomyotic tissue, which showed significant difference(P0.01),but the expression of RANTES in ectopic was higher than that in normal and eutopic adenomyotic tissue(P0.01).Conclusion: The findings suggest that abnormal expression of ER,PR and RANTES may be the mechanism of adenomyosis.
