Secure Transaction Validation Mechanisms in Hybrid Cloud Fintech Environments

Abstract

The increasing adoption of hybrid cloud infrastructures in financial technology (fintech) ecosystems has transformed how institutions manage data, authenticate users, and validate transactions. However, as these environments blend public and private cloud resources, they introduce new security complexities that challenge conventional trust and validation frameworks. This paper explores secure transaction validation mechanisms tailored for hybrid cloud-based fintech systems, emphasizing data integrity, authentication, and non-repudiation. It examines current industry practices such as multi-factor authentication, blockchain-integrated validation layers, and zero-trust models within a hybrid cloud context. The study further discusses cryptographic protocols, machine learning-driven anomaly detection, and compliance with global financial regulations like PSD2 and GDPR. Findings highlight that effective transaction validation in hybrid cloud fintech environments requires a multilayered architecture combining encryption, continuous monitoring, and adaptive trust scoring. The research concludes by proposing a conceptual framework for real-time secure validation that can strengthen transparency and resilience in cross-cloud financial operations.
