Neumotórax catamenial recidivante

espanolEl Neumotorax Catamenial es un tipo infrecuente de neumotorax que se encuentra relacionado con la menstruacion y la endometriosis. El diagnostico sera por sospecha clinica ya que la mayoria de veces no se aprecian los implantes con las tecnicas de imagen. Actualmente, no se requiere estudio histopatologico y/o vision directa de los implantes para iniciar tratamiento que incluye tratamiento farmacologico y/o cirugia toracica. Presentamos el caso clinico de una paciente con Neumotorax de probable origen catamenial. EnglishCatamenial pneumothorax is a rare type of pneumothorax which is associated with menstruation and endometriosis. Diagnosis is by clinical suspicion because most times implants are not seen with imaging techniques. Currently, no histopathology and / or direct view of the implants is required to initiate treatment that includes drug therapy and / or thoracic surgery. We report the case of a patient with a suspected origin catamenial of the pneumothorax.
