Complicated total laparoscopic hysterectomy:a clinical analysis of 102 cases

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the methods and technique skills during complicated total laparoscopic hysterectomy.Methods:Total laparoscopic hysterectomy were preformed in 102 cases diagnosed of endometriosis,cervical fibroids,uterine fibroid within the broad ligament,pelvic adhesion and previous cesarean section.Results:All cases were performed under laparoscopy.Mean operating time was(158.3±43.7)min,mean blood loss was(236.6±87.8)ml,mean hospitalization after operation was(6.4±2.2)days.There were no complications related to the injury of ureter,bladder and rectum.Conclusions:Complicated hysterectomy can be performed under laparoscopy.It is important for the operator to be familiar with pelvic anatomy and the use of different equipments to perform the procedure.
