Abstract
Endometriosis is a condition where the functional and morphological endometrial gland and stromal structure are found outside the uterus. It occurs most often in pelvis, peritoneum, ovaries, posterior cul-desac and uterosacral ligaments. Retrograd menstruation, metaplasia, lymphatic and hematogenous outspread, mechanical transplantations in insicional scars during the operations and some else theories are introduced for pathogenesis. Subcutaneous mass, swelling, cyclic pains associated with menstruation, tenderness are likely clinical symptom and signs. Magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, ultrasound, fine needle aspiration biopsy are used in diagnosis. Total excision is the considered management of the scar endometriosis.
