Model performance was evaluated for peak yield, persistency, and time to peak production. Results showed that the Gamma-Type function was the most accurate overall, particularly for later lactations, while the Mixed Logarithmic model best described first lactations. The Wilmink model effectively captured early lactation trends, whereas the Quadratic model provided only preliminary fits. Frieswal cows generally reached peak yield in the second month of lactation. These findings highlight the importance of selecting parity-specific models to improve milk yield prediction and herd management.
