Abstract

Objective To analyze the efficacy of bilateral uterine artery embolization for treatment of uterine adenomyosis.Methods Thirty-two cases of uterine adenomyosis patients received PVA + Pingyang DX + gelatin sponge particles embolization treatment.Results Dysmenorrhea was relieved in 28 cases,accounted for 87.5%.There were 3 cases of apparent remission,accounted for 9.3%,and 1 case was menopause.The mean uterine volume reduced 55.8%.Conclusion Bilateral uterine artery embolization for treatment of adenomyosis has obvious curative effect,small wound,preserving the uterus.
