Abstract

Objective:To detect the distribution of polymorphism at Sac I site G/C in the seventh extron of AHSG gene in patients with endometriosis,patients with myoma of uterus and normal controls.Methods:The polymorphism of Sac I site G/C in the seventh extron of AHSG gene was detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism in patients with endometriosis(n=98),patients with myoma of uterus(n=97) and normal controls(n=99).Results:The frequencies of GG GC,CC and genotypes were 32.65%,57.14% and 10.20% in patients with endometriosis,while 75.26%,22.68% and 2.06%,in patients with myoma of uterus,and 74.75%,23.23% and 2.02% in normal controls.A significant difference was seen in the distribution frequency of AHSG genotype between patients with endometriosis and patients with myoma of uterus,patients with endometriosis and normal controls.There was no significant difference in the distribution frequency of AHSG genotype between patients with myoma of uterus and normal controls.Conclusion:The distribution frequency of Al-ISO gem type has something to do with mobility of endometriosis but has nothing to do with that of myoma of uterus.
