Abstract
Objective:To detect the expressions of human leukocyte antigen-DR molecule(HLA-DR)and intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1)in ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis, explore the significance of HLA-DR and ICAM-1 in immune pathogenesis of endometriosis. Methods:The expression levels of HLA-DR and ICAM-1 in ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis and normal endometrium of control group were detected by immunohistochemical SP method. Results:The expression levels of HLA-DR and ICAM-1 in ectopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis were significantly higher than those in eutopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis and normal endometrium of control group(P0.05);there was no significant difference in expression levels of HLA-DR and ICAM-1 between eutopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis and normal endometrium of control group(P0.05);the expression levels of HLA-DR and ICAM-1 in eutopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis changed periodically, the expression levels in proliferative phase were significantly higher than those in secretory phase(P0.05);in normal endometrium of control group, the expression levels of HLA-DR and ICAM-1 in proliferative phase were higher than those in secretory phase, but there was no significant difference(P0.05);in ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis, there was a positive correlation between expression of HLA-DR and ICAM-1.Conclusion:The expression levels of HLA-DR and ICAM-1 in ectopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis increase, the abnormal changes induce the changes of peritoneal local immune microenvironment in patients with endometriosis and promote the occurrence and development of endometriosis.
