Abstract
Abstract The method of developing the trajectory of a shaping tool in classical spinning is relatively simple and fast, and does not require complicated operations. Such a solution is facilitated by tool kinematics. Rotational forming of asymmetrical products, due to different, more sophisticated, tool kinematics, requires the generation of a very complex trajectory, which takes a long time to prepare. The paper analyzes and describes two methods for writing and generating the trajectory of the movement of a spinning tool’s roll during the shaping of axially asymmetric products. The advantages and disadvantages of each method were analyzed. The shape of the developed trajectory was compared depending on the chosen method of its generation. In addition, an experimental study was conducted to verify the correctness of the developed trajectory. The study was conducted for the 1050A aluminum alloy in delivery condition H111, for the material thicknesses of 2 mm and 2.5 mm. The limitations of the shaping of axially asymmetric products due to the shape of the template were also analyzed.
