Experiences of treating bladder endometriosis in 6 cases

Abstract

Objective To explore the diagnosis and treatment of bladder endometriosis.Methods The clinical manifestation,features of B-ultrasound,CT and cystoscopy as well as treatment methods of six cases of bladder endometriosis were analyzed.All six cases were treated with partial cystectomy.Results All six cases were confirmed as bladder endometriosis after the pathological examinations.There was no recurrence postoperatively.Conclusion Definite diagnosis depends on microscope examination or surgical exploration.Detailed medical history enquiry and analysis of clinical symptoms should be emphasized.Age,birth demand,lesion range,severity of urinary symptoms and complications with endometriosis at other pelvic sites should be taken into consideration when choosing the treatment method.Laparoscopic partial cystectomy is one of the most promising operation types.
