Clinical Study on "Xianji Pill" in Treating 70 Cases of Dysmenorrhea in Adenomyosis of Blood and Heat Accumulation

Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of Xianji Pill on dysmenorrhea in patients with adenomyosis of blood and heat accumulation. Methods 134 subjects were divided into treatment group (n=70) and control group(n=64), and respectively given Xianji Pill and danazol for three months. Results After treatment, the total effective rate in treatment group was 87.14%, higher than 67.19% in control group (P0.01). The scores of dysmenorrhea in treatment group decreased after treatment, and was lower than control group (P0.01). Conclusion Xianji Pill has positive therapeutic effects on dysmenorrhea following adenomyosis of blood and heat accumulation.
