Effects of qi-enriching and blood-activating herbs on expressions of IL-2 and IL-6 in ectopic endometrium rats

Objective To investigate the effects of qi-enriching and blood-activating herbs on expressions of IL-2 and IL-6 in ectopic endometrium rats.Methods The model of endometriosis in rats was duplicated.After three weeks,the rats were randomly divided into model group,low-dose TCM group,high-dose of TCM group and western medicine group.Six rats in each group were given medical intervention.After four weeks,the endometrium was fixed and sliced.The expressions of IL-2 and IL-6 in endometrium were detected by RIA staining with immunol-histochemistry.Results Compared with the model group and the low-dose TCM group,the expression of IL-2 was increased and the expression of IL-6 was decreased in the high-dose TCM group and western medicine group(P0.05).Conclusion The qi-enriching and blood-activating herbs can regulate the contents of IL-2 and IL-6,and hence intervene the growth of the endometrium to treat ectopic endometrium.
