The problem of antidepressant withdrawal: Evolving knowledge landscapes and changing power dynamics

This manuscript was originally intended to appear as the introductory chapter of an edited volume titled,Antidepressant Dependence and Withdrawal: Research, Clinical, and User Perspectives (Springer Publishing). Unfortunately, the volume will not be published. It is presented here for posterity’s sake. It describes recent developments around the issues of antidepressant dependence and withdrawal and identifies areas for future research and advocacy.
