[Changes in absorptive-excretory function of the liver under the effect of synthetic gestagens].

49 women with endometriosis using Infecundin as a therapeutic drug and 33 healthy women using Infecundin as a contraceptive were administered examinations of the liver by means of radioisotope gamma-hepatography with the help of Bengal rose-iodine-131. In both groups of users a disturbance of the hepatic absorptive excretory function of the liver was revealed consisting of a primary change in the indicator excretive process. A more serious disturbance of the liver with a simultaneous disturbance of the hemocirculation was noted in the patients with endometriosis which was accompanied by hyperestogenia. Infecundin used as a contraceptive can have a slight or moderate effect on the absorptive function of the liver with a more pronounced effect during the excretory phase.(Authors modified)
