Genome-wide identification of WRKY gene family and expression analysis under abiotic stresses in Avena sativa

Abstract

The WRKY gene family plays a vital role in plant growth and development and abiotic stress response. This will provide reference for further study on the regulation mechanism of WRKY gene family in response to abiotic stress in A.sativa . In this study, We identified 165 WRKY family members by bioinformatics methods. Furthermore, the chromosomal localization, phylogenesis, conserved motifs, gene structure and gene replication were analyzed for WRKY genes. There are many response elements related to abiotic stress in AsWRKY member promoter region. qRT-PCR experimental results showed that WRKY gene played a regulatory role in cold stress, low temperature, salt stress and salt-alkali stress. This study provided theoretical basis for further exploring the biological functions of WRKY gene family members in A.sativa .
