Abstract

Software-defined networking architectural is a sim- plified framework which reduces the work of the net- work administrators by differentiating the data plane from the control plane. An easy to configure network is made possible with this architecture by providing a programmable interface for applications related to management, security and control over the entire net- work is more easily achieved through centralized con- trollers that have complete network visibility. As a result of these advantages, software-defined networks are susceptible to attacks with much greater impact than traditional ones.
