Abstract
The article describes the results of examination of women who underwent uterectomy with different surgical approaches. Connective tissue dysplasia was proven to play an important role in genital prolapse after uterectomy. To reduce the risk of colpoptosis in women with connective tissue dysplasia surgical approach should be thoroughly chosen.
