Roll Your Own: How to Compute Bayes Factors for Your Priors
preprint
OA: closed
Abstract
This document archives two blog posts that may be used in association with "Bayesian Inference for Psychology. Part II: Example Applications with JASP," (Wagenmakers et a.) which is currently forthcoming in Psyconomic Bulletin and Review (2017). The blog posts document how to compute Bayes factors for any two models in the common one-sample (paired t-test) setup. They are posted as part of Jeff Rouder’s Invariances blog, and may be found at http://jeffrouder.blogspot.com/2016/01/what-priors-should-i-use-part-i.html and http://jeffrouder.blogspot.com/2016/03/roll-your-own-ii-bayes-factors-with.html.
