discovery of dwarf bees Apis florea Colonies on the western coast of the Red Sea in central eastern Egypt

The study was conducted in the southern eastern coast of Egypt of the Red Sea region to identify some types of bees that are likely to be present in this coastal region. The work was carried out through surveys that covered an area the longest of which is about 20 km and a width of 2.5 km. The results of the morphological definition showed the presence of dwarf bees in the Safaga area and the buildings were more Places where colonies of dwarf bees were found. The number of colonies recorded an average of 5 colonies / km 2 . The most widespread plants were Sidr. The results also showed the continuous movement of colonies.
