Consider GDP, employment, tourism, poverty and homelessness. Sri Lanka's economy has changed significantly in the last two years. The virus was created by human influence. Its impact is enormous. Sri Lanka's tourism industry has also seen a sharp decline in job losses. The manufacturing and services sector has been severely affected. This directly affects local producers. The collapse of imports and exports led to job losses and poverty. The dollar depreciated sharply due to inflation. This affected the total national income of Sri Lanka. Thus reducing the average income of an individual. As a result, there was a shortage of goods and services and the prices of goods went up. As a result, the poor, the middle class and the rich were severely affected economically. Therefore, appropriate measures should be taken to regain the economy while controlling the spread of the pandemic.
