Abstract

Objective To explore the diagnostic significance of endometrial antibody( EmAb) and serum CA125 in detection of endometriosis. Methods A total of 156 patients with endometriosis in this hospital during March 2010 to June 2012 were listed as endometriosis group, and 156 patients without endometriosis at the same period were allocated as control group, and serum levels of endometrial antibody and CA 125 were examined by immunoradiometry and enzyme- linked immuno sorbent assay( ELISA) in patients of these two groups, and their results were compared. Results The positive rates of CA125 and EmAb in patients of endometriosis group were 58. 33% and 61. 54% respectively; and the positive rates of CA125 and EmAb in patients of control group were 12. 82% and 14. 10% respectively; and their difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). The sensitivity of this combined examination in diagnosis of endometriosis reached 51. 92%,and their specificity reached 100%. Conclusion The detection of serum levels of CA125 and EmAb has important clinical significance in diagnosis of endometriosis, and their joint detection can significantly raise the accuracy of diagnosis.
