The different expression of HLA-G protein in placentas between endometriosis and normal pregnant women

Objective:To investigate human leukocyte antigen-G(HLA-G) protein expression in the endometrium of endometriosis(EM).Methods:30 women with ovarian endometriosis(OEM),30 women without EM were recruited as study group and control group,respectively.Western blot was used for quantitative detection of the difference on HLA-G protein expression in the endometrium between two groups.Results:HLA-G protein expression of OEM group was significantly higher than that in the control group.Conclusion:Higher HLA-G protein may be related to the pathomechanism of EM.
