Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of transcervical resection of endometrium(TCRE) combined with levonorgestrel releasing intrauterine system treatment for adenomyosis.Methods All of 45 patients with adenomyosis in our hospital were divided into observation group(23 cases) and control group(22 cases).Patients in observation group received Mirena after TCRE,while the control group only received Mirena.The vaginal bleeding and dysmenorrhea were recorded.And patients were followed regularly.Results The irregular vaginal bleeding rate and amenorrhea rate of 2 groups were controlled effectively in following 3 months,6 months and 1 year.There was significant difference in irregular vaginal bleeding rate and amenorrhea rate of 2 groups(P 0.05).There was no significant difference in cure rate of dysmenorrhea of 2 groups(P 0.05).Conclusion Transcervical resection of endometrium(TCRE) combined with levonorgestrel releasing intrauterine system treatment is more effective for adenomyosis.
