Kangfu anti-inflammatory suppository associated with microwave in treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of kangfu anti-inflammatory suppository associated with microwave in treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.Methods 118 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease were included in the study.They were randomly divided into two groups and the control group(n=59).Observation group was were given treatment by kangfu anti-inflammatory suppository associated with microwave treatment,while the control group was simply given to kangfu anti-inflammatory suppository.All clinical parameters were compared including efficiency and relapse rate,etc.Results In the observation group,22 patients were cured,33 cases markedly effective,2 cases improved,2 cases were ineffective,the total efficiency is 97%,5 cases of recurrence(8.4%);in the control group,11 patients were cured,13 cases markedly,14 cases improved,21 cases were ineffective,the total efficiency is 64%,12 cases of recurrence(20.3%).The total effective rate and the recurrence rate difference was significant between the groups(P0.05).Conclusion kangfu anti-inflammatory suppository associated with microwave is an effective method of treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease,is worthy of clinical application.
