The relationship between diabetes and the severity of pneumonia, a research article

Abstract This article aimed to evaluate the relation between diabetes and the severity of pneumonia by determining the proportion of diabetes type 2 in patients with pneumonia, identifying characteristics of diabetes such as duration of infection and complications associated with the disease, and identifying poor outcomes of pneumonia such as the admission in the intensive care unit indication and the need for ventilation, and finally to determine the relation between the severity of pneumonia, poor outcomes and diabetes.
