AZOLE DERIVATIVE AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION THEREOF

An azole derivative represented by general formula (I), a salt thereof, a hydrate thereof, or a solvate thereof, wherein R1 and R2 may be the same or different and each represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, or optionally halogenated phenyl; A, B and D may be the same or different and each represents =CR3- or nitrogen; X and Y may be the same or different and each represents single bond, methylene, oxygen, S(O)n or -NR4-; R3 and R4 may be the same or different and each represents hydrogen or lower alkyl; and n represents 0, 1 or 2. It has a steroid 17-20 lyase inhibitor activity and is useful as an agent for preventing or treating prostatic cancer, prostatic hypertrophy, masculinism, mammary cancer, mastopathy, uterus myoma, and endometriosis.
