Abstract

Recurrence endometriosis is defined as endometriosis with painful symptoms, endometriotic lesions, and recurring elevations of the CA 125 marker after surgery was discovered clinically or ultrasonographically. Alternatively, other researchers claim that endometriosis recurs based on evidence of recurrence discovered through repeated surgery. Recurrent endometriosis is diagnosed at a rate of about 20% in the first two years after surgery, increasing to 50% in the next five years. Recurrent endometriosis becomes more common over time, with the rate of recurrence varying depending on a variety of circumstances. Recurrent endometriosis is determined by the type of endometrial lesion, stage, surgeon skill and surgical method, as well as the dose and length of postoperative treatment. For this reason, to avoid recurring endometriosis, the patient must receive consistent and long-term care after surgery. As a result, recurring endometriosis has become a source of concern for clinicians, necessitating the most effective and complete therapy. Keywords: Recurrent Endometriosis, Incidence, Management
