Post COVID-19 vaccination cutaneous vasculitis: A case series and  literature review

Ever since the first COVID-19 vaccines got emergency use authorization, side-effects and complications pertaining to vaccines were reported. vasculitis is among the very uncommon complications of both COVID-19 disease and COVID-19 vaccines. Cutaneous vasculitis manifests usually as palpable purpura, infiltrated erythema, and panniculitis. During our practice in dermatology office ewe encountered 3 cases who developed symptoms only after they had received vaccine jabs (2 cases received Sinopharm vaccine and one got AstraZeneca), in accordance with their symptoms we obtained skin biopsies and their diagnosis was confirmed. All patients were treated with topical corticosteroids and subsequently showed progress.
