Abstract
【Objective】To explore the role of nerve fibers distribution in eutopic endometrial functional layer and basal lamina in the pathogenesis of endometriosis-associated pain.【Methods】 Using immunohistochemical method to detect the nerve fibers distribution in the eutopic endometrium. The distribution of myelinated and non-myelinated nerve fibers were detected by anti-NF antibody and anti-PGP9.5 antibody respectively.【Resluts】 PGP9.5-nerve fibers expressed in both the functional layer and basal lamina of the endometrium in the patients with endometriosis, but not expressed in the functional layer and absent or only a small amount in the basal lamina of the normal endometrium.NF-nerve fibers were not expressed in the functional layer and only a small amount in the basal lamina of the normal endometrium, but not expressed in the functional layer and basal lamina of the normal endometrium.【Conclusion】 The mechanism of neuroanatomy explained the relationship between endometriosis-associated pain and the distribution of nerve fibers.PGP9.5 may be a relatively simple biomarker for the diagnosis of endometriosis using endometrial biopsies, and it may help to explore a new method for early diagnosis of endometriosis.
