To achieve this objective, exploratory research design and qualitative data gathering instruments such as key informant interviews, focus group discussions, and in-depth interviews was employed. The data were collected from 40 focus group discussion participants, 44 in-depth interviews, and 16 for key informant interviews. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data. The study revealed several key ways in which social networks facilitate community mobilization in the North Wollo Zone. 1. Information dissemination and awareness raising, building Trust and encouraging participation resource mobilization and conflict resolution and Consensus building. 2. Community members expressed a strong sense of ownership, enhances collaboration and unity within the community, and empowerment when engaging in self-mobilization efforts. 3. The challenges are lack of resources and capacity building limitations are the challenges contribute to the failure of social networking for community mobilization. 4. Social networking in community mobilization provided opportunities for innovation and the development of local solutions tailored to the specific needs and contexts of the community.
