Analisis Heplotipe Polimorfisme Gen Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) pada Endometriosis

This study performed to investigate whether the VEGf gene polymorphisms in the promotor region on 5 – untranslated region of the VEGT gene were tested for assoctaion in a case control study of 50 women with endometriosis and 28 women with no evidence of disease. Following extraction of genomic DNA, genotyping of the -460T>C and +405 C>G polymorphism of the VEGT gene were preformed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and restriction fragment length by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis. The study was conducted in Makasar-Indonesia from January 2007 to October 2007. Hoploview program version 3.2 was used to estimate haplotpe frequencies for multiple loct. The fistribution of genotypes of -460T>C polymorphism in women with endometriosis was significantly from those without endometriosis (pG polymorphism in women with endometriosis was not sognificantly different from those without endometriosis (p>0.05).
