The Impact Of COVID-19 Pandemic On The Radiopharmacy Activities National And International Survey, The Standard Is Missing

Background: The COVID–19 pandemic is confronting the business activities of radiopharmaceutical labs globally. This study aimed to find out the impact of COVID–19 on the radiopharmacy business, services, and research activities. Methods: : This survey was conducted online among nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceutical staff. Results: : Socio-demographic information was collected. A total of 140 health professionals from 23 countries participated in the study. We observed that the 18F–fluorodeoxyglucose was used frequently during COVID–19 pandemic. The radiopharmacy lab scheduling was reduced. The majority of the respondents were using the local departmental regulations. Conclusions: : COVID–19 adversely affected the radiopharmaceutical business and nuclear medicine research.
