Effect of Video Laparoscopy on the Treatment of 52 Cases of Ovarian Endometriosis

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effect of video laparoscopic treatment in patients with ovarian endometriosis. Method:52 patients with ovarian endometriosis were performed with electric cautery of endometriotic lesions, ovarian endometriotic cysts enucleation and adnexectomy. The curative effect was observed by follow-up. Results: All patients were successfully managed by laparoscopy without major perioperative complications. The patients were followed for 2 to 12 months, the rate was 92.3%. Of 24 among 39 cases with dysmenorrhea were achieved complete remission, 8 cases achieved imcomplete remission, total improvement rate was 82.05%. Of 10 among 18 cases with infertility conceived (55.56%). Four cases showed recurrence, the rate was 7.69%. Conclusion: Treating ovarian endometriosis with laparoscopy has many advantages such as little injury, quick recover, less bleeding and low recurrence, and can be performed widely.
