With advancements in imaging diagnostics modalities evaluating deeply infiltrating endometriosis, surgeons are provided with clearer assessment of the pelvic anatomy and endometriosis involvement. Mapping the pelvic and abdominal anatomy will assist endometriosis specialists in devising the best surgical approach with proper patient counseling.
