Clinical analysis of 55 patients with endometriosis treated by laparoscopy combined with short-term gestrinone

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To investigate the effects on patients with endometriosis by operational laparoscopy combined with short-term gestrinone. METHOD 55 patients with endometriosis were treated by using laparoscopy combined with short-term gestrinone. Among of them, 45 patients whose varian cysts were removed under the laparoscopy; 10 patients whose pelvic endometriotic tissue were treated with electrocauterization. The patients have been followed-up for 24 months. RESULTS Under the laparoscopy, all operation were finished successfully. The patients’ dysmenorrhea symptom relieved remarkablely, their pregnance rates and relapse rates arrived to 62.5% and 3.64%, respectively.CONCLUSION The method can delay the relapse of endometriosis, reduce the relapse rates and increase pregnance rates.
