Al Absi This is a preprint; it has not been peer reviewed by a journal. https://doi.org/ 10.21203/rs.3.rs-9517668/v1 This work is licensed under a CC BY 4.0 License Status: Posted Version 1 posted You are reading this latest preprint version Abstract This paper presents the design, theoretical analysis, and experimental validation of a novel family of active filters, including low-pass (LP), high-pass (HP), and band-pass (BP) filters, along with their corresponding inverse filters (ILP, IHP, and IBP). The proposed configurations are implemented using the AD844 current-feedback operational amplifier (CFOA) and support both current-mode and voltage-mode operation, offering high flexibility for analog signal-processing applications. Experimental verification is carried out using an AD844-based NI ELVIS II prototype platform. Measured results exhibit close agreement with theoretical predictions, thereby confirming the functionality, robustness, and practicality of the proposed designs. Owing to their cascadability, grounded passive components, and dual-mode operation, the proposed filters are well suited for applications in instrumentation, communication systems, and analog signal processing.
