Abstract
Objective To examine the prevalence of migraine with chronic pelvic pain(CPP)with and without endometriosis. Methods All 130 patients who accepted laparoscopic surgery for CPP were divided into endometriosis group and control group. The type of headache and the qaulity of life were compared between the two groups. Results The prevalence of migraine with endometriosis was similar with the patients without endometriosis(64.58% vs 67.65%);There's significant difference in the depression score between the two groups(P0.05),but there's no significant difference in other aspects, such as pain, disability and general health(P0.05).Conclusion Migraine headache is common with chronic pelvic pain, regardless of endometriosis, and contributes to disability in those with both conditions.
