Abstract

Objective To investigate the difference and each advantage of Mifepristone,levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system( LNG -IUS) and gonadotropin-releasing hormone analog( GnRHa) in treating 240 patients with adenomyosis. Methods Two hundred and forty patients from 400women with adenomyosis were randomly selected. They were divided into three groups:Group I (80 cases) were treated with small doses Mifepristone, group Ⅱ (80 cases)were treated with LNG-IUS,and group Ⅲ (80 cases)were treated with GnRHa.The changees of three groups patients' menstrual( menstruation, menstrual quantity ),dysmenorrhea change and hormone:[ estrogen ( E2 ),progestin ( P ),transaminase(ALT) ] were recorded and analyzed statistical. Results The effects on menstrual:Treatment effect of mifepristone and GnRHa was obvious( P <0.05).Patient with LNG-IUS come under observation vaginal minimal hemorrhage as long as 3 to 6 months. To impact dysmenorrhea and hormones:Treatment effect of GnRHa was obvious ( P < 0.05 ).Conclusions LNG-IUS and GnRHa has better therapeutic effect than mifepristone; And in the popularization process of GnRHa and LNG-IUS,there are some adverse reactions such as LNG-IUS have vaginal minimal hemorrhage as long as 3 to 6 months, need to be reformed by a more reasonable method of application. Key words: Adenomyosis; Mifepristone; Levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system; Gonadotropin-releasing hormone analog; Treatment
