Abstract

Objective To study the influence of two hemostatic methods with Stariou instruments and Scaple PK on ovary function after operation in shelling out endometriotic ovary-cyst in laparoscopy. Methods 116 patients with endometriotic ovary-cyst having operation indication were randomly divided into two groups:48 patients for Scaple PK and 68 patients for Stariou instrument, according to hemostatic methods in the operation laparoscopy. The serum levels of serum follicle stimulsting hormone(FSH),lutinizing hormone(LH) and estradiol(E_2) of all the patients were inspected as judging ovary reserve function before and one month after operation. Results There was no statistical significance for serum levels of FSH,LH and E_2 before operation for the two groups(P0.05) while there was statistical significance after operation(P0.05). The former group reexamined 10 patients with level of serum FSH higher than 12 U/L(20.9%) and the latter reexamined 4 patients whose FSH was higher than 12 U/L(5.89%) after operation. Thus the difference had statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusion The hemostatic method of Scaple PK is more likely to decrease ovary reserve function than Stariou instrument method during shelling out ovary-cyst in laparoscopy.
