Within the Schrödinger’s framework, the interaction potential plays a crucial role in determining the meson spectrum. In this work, we incorporate the Killingbeck potential in the Hamiltonian and apply the quantum mechanical variational method to estimate the masses, decay constants, and oscillation frequencies of selected heavy-flavored mesons, using a Coulombic wave function as the trial function. Our results are systematically compared with experimental data and other theoretical findings available in the literature. Full Text Additional Declarations No competing interests reported.
