Abstract

Uterine artery embolization (UAE) is a relatively recent, safe, and minimally invasive procedure for women experiencing symptomatic fibroids. Abstract

Uterine artery embolization (UAE) is a relatively recent, safe, and minimally invasive procedure for women experiencing symptomatic fibroids. This process of percutaneous occlusion of blood vessels to disrupt blood flow will consequently impede nourishment to the uterine fibroids and cause infarction.
