Abstract
Objective To study the impact of bcl-2 and PTEN protein expressio in the malignant transformation of ovarian endometriosis. Methods Immunohistochemical technique was used to detect the bcl-2 and PTEN protein expressions in 56 endometriosis patients. Results The positive bcl-2 protein expression rate of GroupⅢand GroupⅡwas apparently higher than that of GroupⅠ(P0.05).PTEN protein expression rate of GroupⅢwas lowerer than that of GroupⅡand GroupⅠ(P0.01) Conclusion It is possible that the over-expressions of bcl-2 protein and the lower expressions of PTEN protein play an important role in the malignant transformation of ovarian endometriosis.
