Abstract

Nitric oxide synthases are a series of enzymes which catalize synthesis of nitric oxide. In recent years, many researches showed that NO plays important role in reproductive processes such as fertilization, implantation and ovulation, and that NOSs are overexpressed in eutopic, ectopic endometria and peritoneal fluid of the patients with endometriosis, which can cause infertifity.Further and thorough research on NOS will provide a new target for diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis-associated infertility.
