Abstract

Laparoscopy is commonly used in infertility work-up1. However, the optimal timing of laparoscopy is not so straightforward. Some prefer performing laparoscopy if other diagnostic tests fail to identify an apparent aetiological factor, whereas some prefer performing laparoscopy early. It is generally known that many infertility factors such as endometriosis and pelvic adhesions are best evaluated by laparoscopy2.
