Significance and expressions of c-mye in adenomyosis

Objective To evaluate the expression of c-myc in adenomyosis,to discuss it's important affect of this apoptosis-regulating gene.Methods Compare the expression of c-myc in eutopic and ectopic endometrium in patients who were diagnosised of adenomyosis(the experimental group) with that in normal endomrtrium(the control group).40 women who were operated at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of China and Japan Union Hospital,Jilin University,were enrolled into this study in each group separatively.Results expression of c-myc was mainly found in glandular epithelia,the expression of c-myc in the experimental group were obviously higher,there was obvious difference compared with the control group(P0.01).Conclusion c-myc was excessively expressed in eutopic and ectopic endometrium in adenomyosis.c-myc may correlate with the occurrence and progression of adenomyosis.
